About a Tender Hope
The third book in the Cimarron Creek Trilogy, A Tender Hope will not leave readers disappointed. It's a novel of great loss, heartbreaking betrayal, and the dawning of a new love.
Thea, a recent widow, is desperate for a change. After the murder of her husband and the loss of her child she realizes that there is nothing left for her in Ladreville Texas. Throwing off her "widows weeds" she accepts a position as the midwife of Cimarron Creek.
But on her first day in town a handsome Texas Ranger, Jackson Guthrie, shows up at her door step holding a baby boy!!
The charming Ranger is convinced that Thea's late husband was part of a gang that killed his brother. The more Thea learns about her dead husband's past the more she realizes that she never truly knew him. Would she ever be able to trust again?
And the more time the Ranger spends with Thea the more interesting, and complicated, the situation becomes.

My Thoughts on A Tender Hope
Amanda Cabot is the best selling author of A Stolen Heart and A Borrowed Dream. Her pen flows easily upon the page as she makes her characters come alive as the reader is transported back in time. I eagerly await each new book as they never disappoint!
Anyone who knows me well knows that I love historical fiction. Most historical fiction is set during a particular time period. Each story, although not true in nature, does have a great deal of history between the lines.
One can step into the shoes of another and instantly become a pioneer, a slave, a widow, or a duchess. I have travel the Oregon Trail in a covered wagon, hid slaves from soldiers, married a complete stranger as a mail order bride and fell in love with a Duke at the masquerade ball.
Reading is my therapy! I truly believe that something magical happens when you open a good book such as a tender hope.
