2019-2020 Homeschool Days at Woodland Park Zoo!Wildlife Close to Home Is your neighborhood a wildlife habitat? Wherever you live, the answer is yes! From orb-weaver spiders to great horned owls, and black bears to banana slugs, the Pacific Northwest is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and fascinating animals. Homeschool students and their families are invited to Woodland Park Zoo for a day of hands-on activities, discovery stations, animal programs and self-guided exploration of zoo grounds. Come visit the zoo and build on your students’ natural curiosity about animals!Dates: Thursday, September 19, 2019 Thursday, October 24, 2019 Friday, November 1, 2019 Friday, March 6, 2020 Thursday, April 2, 2020Time: The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and you are welcome to remain on grounds for as much of the day as you like. Please note when planning your day that activities offered for Homeschool Day will primarily occur in the morning and early afternoon.All activities are included with zoo admission.Advanced registration is required to receive the discounted school visit rate ($6.75/person for September, October, November and March; $9.50/person for April).
