Society of St. Andrew brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors. America’s lead gleaning organization now has an office in Indiana. Organizing volunteers to glean farmers’ excess produce and give all of that fresh, nutritious produce to local hunger relief agencies. There are ongoing gleaning opportunities throughout the state. The calendar can be found here: www.endhunger.org/indiana-calendar. Welcome volunteers of all ages to glean.
