Just for our older homeschoolers, we are offering a Tuesday program in William B Umstead State Park. This 10 week session will run between 10am – 3pm starting on Tuesday September 17, 2019 .While the Wake program will follow our same teaching model and philosophy as our Durham location, the unique location will allow the program to focus more on skills similar to orienteering, stealth, fire building, tracking, and plant identification. Please view our summary of the goals and objectives our programs focus on. These goals are meant to be reached over several sessions in the program. Certain goals and objectives will be highlighted depending on the focus of each session. The theme of the session will be announced at the start of the program. Students can expect to spend each day hiking, accomplishing team challenges, and working on an independent project aligning with the theme of the session.
